WATER PURIFICATION

These systems are designed For supplying potable water from Fresh surface water supplies in Emergency conditions.

Operation Principle :
- A diesel driven pump operates the system.
- The raw water is pumped through a stainer which
Serves as a screen before the ump and filters.
At a maximum suction head of 7 – 8 meters.
- The water then passes through a flocculation
Chamber in which there is a tablet form flocculant
- A hose of minumum 60 m length is requried in order
To provide enough time period for flocculation.
- Following the flocculation water passes through
The sand and activated carbon filters respectively.
- Finally. An in—line chlorination unit is used for the
Disinfection of the filtered water.
- If required, pillow tanks of adequate capacity, tap
Stations , U-cans can be supplied optionally.
